Kennycapes Posted July 14, 2018 #1 Share Posted July 14, 2018 traveling on symphony in 3 weeks time for our first every cruise. We are a family of 4 (2 kids) and are taking 3 suitcases. Because we need to extra bed where in the room do you store cases? Trying to judge which cases are the right ones to take. Thanks all.

Ca5ualCrui5er Posted July 14, 2018 #3 Share Posted July 14, 2018 (edited) Normally they would go under the beds, the height is enough even for a hardcase suitcase. And though I haven't experienced an extra bed in my cabins, I would guess it doesn't affect the space underneath them Edited July 14, 2018 by Ca5ualCrui5er Misspelling
Clarea Posted July 14, 2018 #4 Share Posted July 14, 2018 You may have to lift the bed slightly to fit the luggage under the bed frame.
Bloodgem Posted July 14, 2018 #5 Share Posted July 14, 2018 I store mine in the wardrobe (clothes closet).
Panda3 Posted July 14, 2018 #6 Share Posted July 14, 2018 If you find you don't have enough room, the stateroom attendant can store if for you in a maintenance closet nearby. Give him a tip $$.
CarpeCerevisi Posted July 14, 2018 #7 Share Posted July 14, 2018 Mine goes under the bed and I use it to hold dirty clothes. If you have a hard case that doesn’t fit try sliding it under opened. Sent from my iPad using Forums
BND Posted July 14, 2018 #8 Share Posted July 14, 2018 We stay in JS so if they don't fit under the bed, like on GR, we put them behind the chairs on the wall opposite the sofa. There's an overhang shelf so space behind the chairs as they don't go flush against the wall. DH and I usually have three suitcases and have no issues finding somewhere for them. Do not be surprised if they can't do it. People have reported being told no.

karena1 Posted July 14, 2018 #13 Share Posted July 14, 2018 Always store mine under the bed, then they are out of the way until I need them to repack
Lady Chew Posted July 14, 2018 #14 Share Posted July 14, 2018 We have sometimes pulled out the sofa and stored our suitcases on end behind it, creating a kind of sofa table/shelf. Don't know if this would work with children using the sofa bed at night? May not be enough room to have the mattress extended out …

SRF Posted July 14, 2018 #16 Share Posted July 14, 2018 I have done in the closet and under the bed. With 3, you might have to put one in a closet. As has been mentioned, with a hard suitcase, you may have to lift the bed slightly to get it under. the frame at the edges is lower than the middle.
