That’s it for Copenhagen! We just walked back to the hotel, experiencing Tivoli one last time from beyond the gates. We all agree - we should spent an entire day in the park, on a night when it wouldn’t be disrupted by a summer concert series.

 

What a great city... filled with beautiful people that seem to have figured out the formula for enjoying life. Streets streaming with bicycling commuters, canals lined with friends having a drink or taking a swim, and front desks staffed with clerks willing to find late-night food for their guests when all surrounding venues have closed. It all felt “right” to us.

 

Tomorrow we will board the Norwegian Breakaway, embarking on an itinerary packed with 6 days of touring through 5 countries. There will be many early mornings and many long days away from the comforts of ship. Simply put... pray for me.

Extremely happy to find you and your family off on another cruise adventure. First to the Birthday Boy...Happy Birthday!... To your surely disappointed mother, healing thoughts. To you heading out on another wonderful cruise...you'll be fine and love it! No need for prayers....good thoughts to you on your memorable family vacation! :D

So excited I just happened upon one of your live reviews. After your Dawn review, it had me even more pumped for the Dawn cruise we had planned. We’re actually going to be on the Breakaway in the Spring out of NOLA. I’m so stoked for this review! Enjoy your trip. Thanks for sharing another awesome vacation with us all.

Waiting in line at guest services to upgrade Cam and Matt’s soda package to Caps & Corks. There’s no need to sign a parental waiver for alcohol because they’re over 18 and it’s a European sailing.

Since they’re passenger #2 in rooms with UBP, they received the soda package at the time of booking and are able to upgrade to Caps & Corks by paying the service charge.

Sue is sharing her card struggles with the group. The two cards for her room failed to scan when boarding, and then failed to open the stateroom. She took them down to guest services, received new cards, which also failed to open the stateroom.

When she came down for muster, there was an officer and maintenance crew member working on the door - apparently a lock failure.

Oooh, exciting. We'll be in Copenhagen in September and then taking Breakaway home. Doug, did you get to try any WarPigs or Mikkeller in CPH? And please let us know what you think of the pour house. I'm afraid we'll be missing the District as well.
