shipbound2 Posted August 26, 2018 #101 Share Posted August 26, 2018 I would like to see more venues that are dance clubs for live bands that play good music not like the crap that is played in the Disco's , even though I'm getting older I still like to dance, The entertainment during the 90's was great. Hoverever the latin band on the Vista was great when I was there in April 2017 Gary

petro772 Posted August 28, 2018 #105 Share Posted August 28, 2018 We would like to see more fully accessible handicap suites for three people. The last few ships only have those suites for two people.

ProgRockCruiser Posted August 28, 2018 #108 Share Posted August 28, 2018 Recognizing that these ships are already designed, I can still express some "wants" and see if they come true: Bigger comedy club and show areas - frankly, we've never actually gone to any of the shows because by the time we think of it, the line-ups are huge or there's no good seats left! More pools, preferably deeper and longer/bigger. The relatively small pool/passenger ratio always surprised me. The observation lounge above/below the bridge would be fantastic! Better overall flow, especially in the Lido/buffet area and the Fun Shops areas, where things can get quite bottlenecked with very little effort. Solo cabins would be nice - would have saved me a chunk of cash when we took my Mom last cruise. A few more "obviously quiet" places, like the Library. I like little nook areas. Like the snug in an Irish pub. Oh, more pubs! True pubs, with draft beer, darts, and nothing stronger than wine for those that can't do beer for whatever reason. Cousin Eddie Posted August 28, 2018 #111 Share Posted August 28, 2018 Although I understand that it is not likely, I would love to see at least a short season of Baltic itinerary cruises since it is being built in Finland.
Joebucks Posted August 29, 2018 Author #112 Share Posted August 29, 2018 Bring back another "Non Smoking" ship! I think it could be an interesting idea to split the casino in two, especially on a large ship. Smoking and non. Everyone is happy. Right?
IntrovertCruiser Posted August 29, 2018 #113 Share Posted August 29, 2018 A premium buffet area, pay a little extra but you don't have to stand behind the person that takes 10 minutes to scoop out mashed potatoes. Seriously if Carnival had people serving the buffet food it would go so much faster.
AAAAmerican Posted August 29, 2018 #114 Share Posted August 29, 2018 Carnival Build that Passsenger Cruise Terminal Port of Call in Newark, Essex County, New Jersey you have been talking about for decades now it is dredged even for the Largest Tanker and Freighter in the World! It will cost us 40 million Cruisers here a lot less than New York.
right trip Posted August 29, 2018 #115 Share Posted August 29, 2018 I agree. I do not like the liquid lounge at all. I would also like more European cruises on Carnival. I agree.

You dont have to shuffle down the entire length of the buffet to get your food. 6&

ID Cruiser Posted August 29, 2018 #119 Share Posted August 29, 2018 I know that royal has them and my family loves them, more than the slow waterslides, I think it would be awesome for a flow rider to be included in the next build Sent from my iPhone using Forums

If you take 5 seconds to grab those mashed potatoes, I'm not going to "jump the line" in front of you. I will wait my turn. If you take 15 seconds to get those same potatoes, I will "pass you" just like I would a vehicle idling at the side of the road - by the time I have carried on, you wouldn't even know I was there. untailored bostonian Posted August 29, 2018 #121 Share Posted August 29, 2018 It will never happen, but I’d like a ship design that has multiple pool decks. Place the pools to the edge of a lower deck looking out to sea. They could be those shallow 3-4’ deep “soaking pools”. Say three pools: one aft, two midship. These could be designed to be sheltered from weather with a retractable awning. There could still be “pool cabins” forward and between the midship and aft pools. Add a mini snacks buffet and “promenade” seating.

CRUISERMOMX3 Posted August 29, 2018 #123 Share Posted August 29, 2018 Why not move the casino and shops to the Riviera deck. There aren’t any windows anyway and non smokers wouldn’t have to walk through them. I have recently started cruising solo and would love to see some solo cabins. Carnival just hasn’t realized how many solo cruisers there are.

Carnival just hasn’t realized how many solo cruisers there are. AIDAnova, which is the same design as this ship, has solo interior and solo balcony cabins. The casino and shops will never be relegated to a deck where there would not be a large amount of foot traffic. The reasoning for their placement is to make it easier for you to part with your money. cynt Posted August 30, 2018 #125 Share Posted August 30, 2018 An open air casino at the back of the ship on the Lido deck. On the days when it's inclement weather and of course on days when it's closed they close the top with a roof and close the sides with those sliding glass partition kind of like sliding glass doors. They could even have stationary walls, that are solid from the ground to about 4 feet and then glass on that top portion that could slide into the walls. So it's still an open air concept when you open the windows and the roof.
