Agreed! We were most impressed when we arrived Memorial Day weekend at 11:00, went through security (that took the longest), went to Elite check in and were told we could board immediately. Once on board we had a very warm welcome from the cruise director.

We boarded about 11 am, but unlike previous cruises they were not serving champagne and mimosas?

 

Has that practice been discontinued?? We're taking our first Celebrity cruise in early 2020, after the Summit's dry-dock. I was kind of looking forward to this classy perk. I don't really care that much about champagne, but it's just a cool service that reeks of class.

We sailed on Kine 4. They also didn't acknowledge my Husbands bday even though it said birthday celebration on our booking. On the past 3 cruises ( we always go on his bday) he has gotten complimentary bottle of wine, cards, bday cake on MDR, door decoration?
