allentownahoy Posted July 26, 2018 #1 Share Posted July 26, 2018 If you have recently sailed the Summit from Bayonne could you tell me when they began boarding? Thanks
CruisersTimesThree Posted July 26, 2018 #2 Share Posted July 26, 2018 We have sailed the Summit out of Bayonne four times and we usually boarded between 10:30-11am. Sent from my iPad using Forums

mamagib Posted July 26, 2018 #4 Share Posted July 26, 2018 Just came back Sunday from this cruise and we were on board with a drink in our hands by 11am!
Rare StartrainDD Posted July 26, 2018 #5 Share Posted July 26, 2018 Agreed! We were most impressed when we arrived Memorial Day weekend at 11:00, went through security (that took the longest), went to Elite check in and were told we could board immediately. Once on board we had a very warm welcome from the cruise director.
HardyVA Posted July 26, 2018 #6 Share Posted July 26, 2018 We boarded about 11 am, but unlike previous cruises they were not serving champagne and mimosas?
allentownahoy Posted July 27, 2018 Author #7 Share Posted July 27, 2018 Thanks everyone. That was my experience in the past. My set sail pass says check in 12-3 which I assumed I could ignore but wanted to be sure nothing has changed.
Ereggae Posted July 27, 2018 #8 Share Posted July 27, 2018 I plan to leave home at 9:30 and should be at the port by 10 am.
Rare printingchick Posted July 27, 2018 #9 Share Posted July 27, 2018 We boarded about 11 am, but unlike previous cruises they were not serving champagne and mimosas? Has that practice been discontinued?? We're taking our first Celebrity cruise in early 2020, after the Summit's dry-dock. I was kind of looking forward to this classy perk. I don't really care that much about champagne, but it's just a cool service that reeks of class.

gerelmx Posted July 27, 2018 #11 Share Posted July 27, 2018 From Cape Liberty Cruise Port web page The cruise terminal pre-boarding lounge opens at 10:30AM. I plan to take the UBER from South Manhattan Hotel at 10 AM, arriving to port around10:
HardyVA Posted July 27, 2018 #12 Share Posted July 27, 2018 We sailed on Kine 4. They also didn't acknowledge my Husbands bday even though it said birthday celebration on our booking. On the past 3 cruises ( we always go on his bday) he has gotten complimentary bottle of wine, cards, bday cake on MDR, door decoration?
