keri0914 Posted August 20, 2018 #1 Share Posted August 20, 2018 Hi All- we are cruising to the Bahamas from Miami in November on Royal Caribbean. We just received notice from Delta that our return flight has changed- leaving us with an almost 4 hour layover in Atlanta and landing at 10:00 pm, and we still have hour/half drive to our house after we land...... My question is, If we could take an earlier flight, what is the earliest we could schedule to depart from Miami after we dock that Friday? Thanks in advance.:)

CruisingSince2012 Posted August 21, 2018 #3 Share Posted August 21, 2018 I am confused. Is this a closed loop cruise followed by a flight from Miami to Atlanta?
alcpa1 Posted August 21, 2018 #4 Share Posted August 21, 2018 Because of the flight schedule change Delta will change your flights if seats are available. There will be no additional fees for the flight adjustments. I agree that 11 ish would be a safe departure time. And while FLL is farther from the Port of Miami it could be a viable option with a departure around 11:30 or so. Before you contact Delta, and a call would work better than their on line link, look at the Delta schedules and pick one or two to suggest to the agent. As long as seats are available you shouldn't have a problem. Enjoy your cruise.
Rare Keith1010 Posted August 21, 2018 #5 Share Posted August 21, 2018 I also agree. No earlier than 11:00 AM. Keith
waterbug123 Posted August 21, 2018 #6 Share Posted August 21, 2018 It would help to know: 1. Are you flying out of MIA or FLL? 2. What time is your ship scheduled to dock? 3. How are you planning to get to the airport? Answers to all of these are a factor in giving you a realistic answer.
