Cost for Arcade

I am just worried that if the arcade pass is fairly new and those photos are fairly old, then we still don't have accurate info. I hope you are right, since I am on the Escape in October!

My worry too. Change "fairly new" for "brand new", most people didn't even know about it when I called them and when I finally made the purchase today she said I was her first customer that bought this.

Well, the pass was new to me and I'm pleasantly surprised. I just got off the phone with the NCL phone rep. I wanted to check if our 15 day Panama Canal cruise on the Bliss coming up had this pass. I have my 8 and 11 year olds coming with ..... Happily, the phone rep said the arcade package wil be available on board only for $10 per person. Granted, it'll cost me $300 for both my kids but I know I could spend $50 a day in there versus the $20 it will cost me with the package so this is great. Looking at sone YouTube videos of the Bliss Arcade it looked like the ski ball was a red swipe and not included. That may not be a fact though. I can tell you that any redemption games like ticket dispensers, claw games, prize games aren't on the pass obviously.

You may be able to pre-book it under "Gifts" on the NCL site for only $8/per day versus $10. I was able to do it for our upcoming cruise on the Escape in October.

I was just able to add this to our upcoming 7 day cruise for just my son. We are leaving this coming Sunday on the Escape. Online I had to add it for all in the room(3 of us. 2 adults who likely would not play), but a simple call to NCL and the rep I spoke to was able to add it for just my son at a cost of $56($8/day). Rather than the $168 that the online reservation would have charged. The rep did comment that the calls have been very frequent for this new product they are offering. Worth a shot to make the call. What is the worst they can say "sorry but you do have to add it to everyone". Now we can sail with ease knowing we won't see a 200-300 charge in the Arcade.

Yes. I to called and was able to add it just for my daughter. I think over the phone they just don’t realize yet that NCL says it have to be added to everyone in the room.

I to am sailing Sunday maybe we will cross paths.

If you look carefully at the pictures I linked earlier (see link below), it appears that the game with the "Wheel of Fortune"-type spinning wheel in picture 3 and the claw machines in pictures 4 and 5 appear to have yellow scanners on them, while all of the driving, shooting, air hockey games have green scanners. I will continue to search for pictures from O'Sheehan's to see if I can spot the Skeeball machines.

Skeeball is not included. See post 120.

I looked under my reservation and cruise planner and didn't see it under gifts. I wonder if it only comes out within a certain number of days like spa passes. I'm still 200 out ..... I guess I will keep looking every day.

Thank you for pursuing this!

I'm thinking that since no one knows of this pass, I may run into some issues. We'll see.

What are the "others" in OSheehans that were referred to? There has to be something this pass can be used on.

Dave and Busters has a similar unlimited, limited pass. Most riding, shooting, screen based items were included, as were skee ball, basketball, and things that you throw to knock over. Only the crane games and the super expensive games were not.

My delusional hope is that they will change most things to green on Sunday morning by the time I get there rest to kick some arcade butt. Otherwise I will be going to guest service to discuss what exactly should be disclosed about this unlimited program.

Is it like the bev package, where everything under $2 games is included? I'm going to make a list and bring it back to post.

I am disappointed about skee ball not being included. It's unclear to me why skee ball would be excluded, but the basketball games right next to it are included. Both award tickets. So it's not that all games that award tickets are excluded. Maybe they are still working out the kinks.

This was on the Escape 2 years ago in the arcade. So maybe the one in O’sheehan’s is yellow and the one in the arcade is green. Or maybe they changed all of them to reflect the new promo. This is from Seacruisers’ video.

Well shoot. Anyone know how much they charge for each game of skeeball? I was hoping to buy the passes online before we left, but may have to wait until onboard to make sure it makes financial sense.

I called today ... and they told me it was impossible to only do one person ... I'm not very happy with NCL right now! Jan
NCL customer service told me I could buy it for everyone or just my kids once on board. I wish for once everyone who worked for NCL could give you a concrete direct answer.

I sent the following to CAS this morning via email:

I am not sure if CAS is managing this new package or not. I know that on board inquiries are supposed to be directed to the Casino desk. I was hoping you could tell me what games are or are not included in the package, as there is very little information available on the web site. I assume games that award prizes, like claw machines, are excluded, but what about games that award tickets like skee ball and basketball?

And received the following, not super helpful reply:

You are correct. The only games that are included are pool, darts, video games such as driving and shooting etc.

While disappointed that all games are not included, I'm hoping that the yellow games have a minimum upcharge. It will be difficult for me to resist skee ball.

Again, I can easily blow through $8/day blowing things up, shooting zombies, and speeding racecars on other games. It'll be awesome!!

When do you sail? I’M interested in Basketball arcade game and the bowling. If those are included it would be amazing!

From another review it’s looks like basketball is included but no to bowling.
