When does Princess start Christmas decorations? Snow in the atrium? Christmas foods? Santa?

Early December has been my experience I was once told first cruise starting after 1 Dec. But it doesn’t seem to b3 consistent we often cruise around then and usually they are up, a few times not.

We were on a Regal Princess Caribbean cruise starting after Thanksgiving 2017. A troup of people arrived one morning I think in St Thomas and proceeded to decorate the whole ship. It was great to come back after a day on shore to see the ship resplendent in decorations. Other stuff was added over the course of the week.

Princess starts decorating for the holidays usually the cruise after Thanksgiving. The food, Santa, snow in the atrium, and a lot of other special touches don't happen though until the actual holiday cruise. We sailed on the Royal last year December 10-20. As we were disembarking, cooks were setting up a huge gingerbread display in the atrium. On some of our previous cruises that were over Christmas, they had carolers in Victorian costumes singing in the atrium at embarkation. The production cast performed a special holiday show. We've also seen a special holiday crew show.
