jerrib Posted August 28, 2018 #1 Share Posted August 28, 2018 reedprincess - you have been so helpful, tried Vigie on our last visit based on your recommendation and loved it. However, we used the loungers to the left of the boardwalk and found them to be uncomfortable. Would you know if any of the vendors to the right have nice cushioned ones? TIA

TIA Doubt it as padded loungers are both expensive and a pain to keep clean and dry for day vendors, including extra storage space for the pads. All you can do is try it out. Different vendors have different types of chairs..

TIA You may disbelieve, but some years ago, on a Barbados beach was a couple who, from their beach bag, produced a roll of "large bubble" wrap. Placed a length on each sunbed , then covered with a couple of ship's towels. When asked, said there was no great weight in luggage. Don't know if this would solve your problem. And they can use the bubble wrap to wrap any liquor they purchase for the trip home!! Win Win
Jeal Posted September 18, 2018 #5 Share Posted September 18, 2018 We were there last week and none of the vendors had padded lounges. They were the stiff mesh material. I agree they are very uncomfortable.
