Recommended Posts

Rhapsody update: no sticker on free D+ bottle. No corkage charged in MDR or in Giovannis.

Navigator update: no sticker on free D+ bottle. No corkage charged in MDR.

So of the 5 ships I’ve been on this year, Radiance was the only one....

Bottom line is, they are supposed to charge.  Expect to be charged.

Are you saying that you were charged ?

the whole jist of this thread is basically no one has been charged the corkage fee since it was brought back.

I wasn’t planning on bring a bottle to the dining room but after reading this thread I’ll take a bottle as most are saying that more often than not the fee is not enforced.

If I get charged I’ll bring a glass the next night and leave the bottle in the room.

Seems to me that since on some/many ships they did away with the sticker, one can assume on those ships there won't be a charge. Even on the other ships, one could just claim it was a gift from the ship.

Biker, who suspects the corkage fee has been eliminated in practice but Miami doesn't want to announce it.

My point is, the rule is to be charged.

I have seen a FEW reports of people being charged.

If you go expecting not to be charged, and you are charged, you will be upset.

If you go expecting to me charged, which is the policy, but are not charged, you will be happy.
