Dawn 110 outlets

On the Dawn at the moment. Our cabin, and apparently all of them now only have one 110 volt electrical outlet. The other three outlets, including the one over the desk, are 2 prong European outlets. The only 110 is inconvently located. Apparently this was done at the recent refurbishing. Are all NCL ships getting this modification ? You need to bring a converter plug if you wish to plug in phone,iPad, etc at the desk area. The ship doesn’t have any.

This sounds pretty normal. Only the newest ships have multiple 110v outlets at the desk. (Actually, sometimes there is one 110v at the desk and one on the entry shelf). We were in a forward facing suite on the Dawn and needed 3 extension cords to get from the outlet to the bedside.

Look behind the flat screen TV for a hidden 110V outlet - may need a short extension cord to be workable

and as others have noted a 3 prong adapter - power strips are these days sometimes confused with the

surge protection type which are no-no equipment. You can give it a try - the worst having to go to the naughty

room to explain these are not the surge strips you/they are looking for.

Simply an extension cord and a 3 prong outlet - image attachment:

Thanks for the suggestions. I do always bring an multi outlet adapter and have one now. And on the Jewel class ships there has always been one 110 outlet in the desk area. However, in this SF this time there is absolutely no 110s available at the desk area or in the bed, living room area. Only round two prong recepticals that take a European design plug only. The only usable 110 is in the dressing area. The cabin steward said some guests do get an extension cord from the service desk and run it across the floor to their living area. I checked behind the TV. It’s plugged in with a European plug.
