no he shouldn't be on, he's on vacation. Whether or not he returns to Brilliance at the end of his vacation remains to be seen.

thanks, I updated the date on the chart. It seems that more and more of the masters are following Capt Johnny's ingenious 11/10 week rotation now.

no, Capt Gjerstad is on. The first name with the notation "started rotation" is the current master on a ship, started rotation means when he started his 8-12 week rotation. The second name underneath that has no notation is the captain on vacation. My start dates are always suspect, with my current information, Capt Kjetil is on until Jan. 14

no, Capt Kjetil came on Nov 5 (?) and is off Jan 14. Even if my start date is wrong, you're boarding in the middle of a rotation so that gives the chart a cushion for the correct start date.

His voice is on an ABC network video clip telling passengers an update. It is 1 minute and 15 seconds.

 

It appears his rotation is longer than 10 weeks, perhaps doing 12 week.

He is a very calm and very articulate guy and I feel bad for the crew and passengers  on this ship.  He will hsve a calming affect on everyone.

 

Hope when they return to Sydney the air quality has improved.
