we just did a B2B with  him on Allure. He was invisible, but when he was out in public (photos on formal night) he seemed interested in the lives of his crew. His attitude trickles down through the ranks and I'd have to say that Allure has dedicated friendly accomodating crew.

I doubt if Ovation has swapped yet because the ship did not start new sailing on 23rd.

 

Some ships do not do exactly 7 day weekly so I think doing a standard 10 week rotation can be misleading. Anthem is the same ad well.

You should get folks to verify actual rotations and not default to exact 10 weeks

TPKeller set up the Excel program to do 10 weeks as that's all Excel can do. So I rely on posters to give up to date info and corrections. Many don't care who the master is so I get very little intel from cruisers. And I definitely never hear from the Asian market for the ships over there. So it is what it is.

Ovation is not in Asian market but rather Australia.  And the two captains started to deviate and do 12 weeks recently.  Capt Johnny of Harmony mixes it up as well.  So a standard 10 weeks is not always accurate and not accurate for ships doing various lengths.

My point was that the list is at all times only 80% accurate. Seems a bit misleading and  I think should be a better way to upkeep.  And sorry some folks do follow certain captains.  They are at least more interesting than say Activities manager.   oh well.

I don't want this to come across completely rude, but if you think you have a better solution, please present it.

 

In the meantime, I think this is list is probably very accurate to within a week or so of a change.

Wolfcathorse, I appreciate all of the effort that you put into this.  Anyone that cruises regularly, knows how fluid the staff and crews schedule can be.  They may think they are going home, only to be told a week before that they have to stay. Thanks for all the time you devote to this!

Dh went to Captain's corner and said when Breen comes back it will be to Rhapsody and then Vision. Can't explain why 2 different ships but it's what he said.  We'll have to wait and see.
