I believe the rotation started after Dec 13. Nielsen was still the Captain on our cruise. At the top tier event they mentioned he was going to be transitioning to the Spectrum of the Seas after this rotation (ending Dec 12).

The Captain sets the tone on the ship. If the crew is happy the guest will be taken care of. Then there's the captain's announcements twice a day.   These can be mundane, but some of the captains have a flare for spicing them up. There are bunch of other intangibles I'm probably skipping, but a good captain can make the voyage a great cruise.

I was in a hurry, and coming down with a nasty cold. I may have forgotten to manually change the Radiance captains. But I do know who's coming to Vision Jan. 26 when Capt Michael goes on vacation. :classic_biggrin:

Anyway, I was told it's Capt Juan Caranti from Rhapsody coming to relieve Capt Michael who said at the Captains Corner that he goes home Jan. 26. I don't know if Capt Juan gets a full 2 week overlap since Rhapsody and Vision are in the same class.

Wonder why Captain Michael is on that long. He’s been on ten weeks right now. Or is he staying on to match up with Rhapsody’s roatations?

he's probably staying on for the overlap with Capt Juan. Their contracts can be as long as 14 weeks so this isn't unusual.

good catch! I got sick over the holidays...just at the time TPKeller said he would redo the Excel program to include Spectrum. So I just sent him the file today...I'll make a note that we now know that the 2 masters will be Capt's Flemming Nielsen and Charles Teige.

So we just need to know who is the Captain on Quantum, the list says Capt Teige started on 6 December?

 

Also, not sure if you use other social media but I run a group on this other place that starts with F that contains this list if you and TPKeller would like to join the closed group and we can share information between both channels?

I just want to make sure I have my math correct.  I know we're a ways out and many things can change, but if I've done my calculations correctly, we should have Captain Srecko for our June 20th cruise on Anthem.  Does that seem right?
