Upgrade 100 minute WiFI Free at Sea to Unlimited Package?

Does anyone know if the 100 minute WiFi plan that comes with the Free at Sea can be upgraded to an Unlimited Package? If so, what is the value of the 100 minute plan? And when would we upgrade...after boarding the ship?

I have seen reports that they grant a $125 credit toward your unlimited price, and that you can do it online and it grants the credit so you don't have to go to the desk. I am hoping it's that easy when I board Breakaway October 27!

250 minutes has a value of $125.

 

100 minutes has a $75 value.

I was recently on the Sun with 30 free minutes from Platinum and they would not let me upgrade. I guess that’s a different animal.

A CC member just posted a review of Getaway and he stated he got the 250 minutes free during booking. On board he upgraded to unlimited internet for $125.00

Depends on what the source of the 100 is.

 

If it a Free at Sea or Distictive Voyages, then they have a cash value that can be applied toward an unlimited package.

 

Latitude minutes do not have any value (although we have got a few internet mangers to give us something for them).

 

Casino minutes have no value at all.

NCL is offering FREE unlimited Wifi for oceanview or above today. If you are not past final pay maybe you can upgrade for free?
