What are "reminder points"?

In my profile on the left side it tells me that I have 0 reminder points and "No restrictions are being applied".

I WANT REMINDER POINTS. What is the best way to accumulate them?  And what the heck are they?

I'm guessing.

Another board I'm on gives moderators the ability to assign "points" for infractions (cussing, attacking, political posts, etc).  When you get to a certain number of infraction points, what you can do on the board is limited (maybe you can't post links, or you can't quote someone, or whatever).  I'm guessing that's what you're referring  to based on the "No restrictions".  Too many points and you'll be restricted.  

And why would you want something that you don't know what they are?

I have a zero-point infraction for something I did years ago. It still appears there.

Reminder points are demerits...

Sometimes, keeping up with the Jones' is not a good idea🙉

I agree with the above - they are demerits that are posted to your permanent record.
