Difference Oosterdam/Veendam

Other than size and capacity, what are the main differences between Oosterdam and Veendam?

Food venues, pool, entertainment venues, casino.

Three differences to start off with:

Cabins in the same category are larger on the Veendam.

There is no aft pool on the Veendam.
Stewards on the Veendam, because it is smaller, get to know your preferences faster and better.

Oosterdam will have BB King, and Retreat cabanas. Veendam won't.

Veendam in May still had a combo for dancing in the Ocean Bar.  The last time we were on the O the dance music in the Ocean Bar was only when the band didn’t have a previous engagement.  It was dead most of the time and the bar staff wasn’t happy about the change.

Two elevator banks on the Veendam; three on the Oosterdam.  Signature suites (mid inbetween size) on the Oosterdam and only Neptune or Verandah on the Veendam. Easier to get around on the Veendam - longer walks on the Oosterdam. Nicer main dining room layout on the Veendam. More Lido variety on the Oosterdam.

Oosterdam - Lincoln Center Stage, Billboard Onboard with two pianos, B.B. Kings Blues Club, (former Queen's Lounge) which doubles as ATK and movie theater (no "Screening Room" dedicated movie theater), Gallery Bar, three-tier Main Stage show lounge, Explorations Cafe in the Crow's Nest along with EXC, dedicated Retreat area with private cabanas, no self-service launderettes, dedicated aft pool
