I just read a Princess press release that SHARE now has a refreshed menu that has more standard options or a vegetarian menu for $29.

“The six-course, fine-dining experience from award-winning Chef Curtis Stone at SHARE aboard Princess Cruises has been revamped with fresh menu offerings, including butter-poached chunks of Alaska King Crab and hard-roasted, double-boned Brown Butter Duroc Pork Chop. In addition, new "Crafted by Curtis" dishes on the main dining room menu are also rolling out fleetwide”.

I heard about the changes to Share on my daily briefing from Alexa today. Part of my briefing is cruise news. 🙂 It won't help me much though. We've never yet eaten at Share and aren't likely to do so. We did sail 28 days on Emerald last October and Share is on that ship but we were never really tempted.

Feed back from world market place has been terrible, not sure why. ( never sailed cb )

We spent 24 days aboard the Caribbean Princess after her dry dock & re-fit.  Since taste in food is so subjective, I won't comment on the food in the World Fresh Marketplace buffet.  We consider the physical layout of it to be an improvement over that of all the pre-Royal class ships.  The flow of traffic is better and less crowded.  However, it is not nearly as good as the layout found on the Royal class.

To me the new MDR offerings appears to be interesting & hopefully they are tasty options.  I didn’t find the previous menu originally at $39 to be appealing but would try the new menu at SHARE on the Ruby & Emerald.

Guests choosing a "Crafted by Curtis" menu item in the main dining rooms can now choose from new options including Steamed Mussels, Chorizo and White Wine, Beef Tenderloin Tips and Mushroom Cobbler”.

The Sun has a different menu &  Choose dishes à la carte or select the prix fixe menu option for $39/person”.  I believe the Sun is primarily in Australia so the prices are probably in AUD.

Thank you for posting this, AF.

As one of the bigger SHARE cheerleaders here on Cruise Critic, I have to say that the new menu looks a bit disappointing.  We will check it out in December, however.  I will, then, have a better informed opinion,

You’re welcome & hopefully you & other fans of SHARE won’t be too disappointed.

If I recall correctly this will be the 3rd version of the menu in an attempt to increase the number of diners.  Based on the menu changes to what appears to be more standard options & canceling the replacement of Sabatini’s on the Coral, SHARE has apparently not been as profitable as forecasted.

As I wrote, I would now consider the new menu & only time will tell if the change results in a more successful (profitable) SHARE restaurant.
