frayedend Posted October 23, 2018 #1 Share Posted October 23, 2018 I just realized I'm Platinum level and they have this listed, " On select ships only. Priority Seating at Theater, ice show & AquaTheater events will be held up to ten minutes before show time. To reserve show times before you board, visit the Pre Cruise Planner section on your local site." I already booked all our shows online. Does this mean that others can't book these shows online or is it just some faster seating when we get there?
Clarea Posted October 23, 2018 #2 Share Posted October 23, 2018 Never heard of any show priority for Platinum level. Are you sure this is the C&A level Platinum and not something else, like the MGM relationship?
frayedend Posted October 23, 2018 Author #3 Share Posted October 23, 2018 Yes I'm quite sure. This is from the Crown and Anchor Society website. The footnote, 10, states what I posted in quotes above about Priority seating at Theater, ice show and Aqua...
not-enough-cruising Posted October 23, 2018 #4 Share Posted October 23, 2018 It must be “extremely selective” sailings because in 20 plus cruises I have never seen any priority for Platinum level at shows.
blackshirt Posted October 23, 2018 #5 Share Posted October 23, 2018 Like it says “select ships” but I have no idea which ones. I’ve never seen priority or reserved seating for platinum on any ship I’ve been on. If you are on a ship that prebooks shows online, everyone can, not just certain C&A levels. frayedend Posted October 23, 2018 Author #6 Share Posted October 23, 2018 Hmm, okay. Thanks for the replies. Seems they like to be cryptic with details lately.
suzyluvs2cruise Posted October 23, 2018 #7 Share Posted October 23, 2018 (edited) Footnote 10 is next to Priority Check-In in what you showed above. Then when you read Footnote 10 it talks about Priority Seating in the Theater, etc. Not sure where you saw that but below is a link to a PDF showing current C&A benefits for all levels https://dlxffu6hwewxp.cloudfront.net/cas/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/CAS_Member_Benefits_Grid_11.6.17-1.pdf CAS_Member_Benefits_Grid_11.6.17-1.pdf Edited October 23, 2018 by suzyluvs2cruise

Namelocg Posted October 23, 2018 #10 Share Posted October 23, 2018 I know for a fact that on Mariner, at least for the ice shows, the reserved section is only for diamond+ and above. On the October 1st sailing you had to show your seapass card to sit in that section.

powelweb Posted October 24, 2018 #12 Share Posted October 24, 2018 Looking at the grid, I believe it is a typo and should actually be footnote 1 which does relate to priority check-in, and not footnote 10. So sorry but hope you still have a great cruise!
