How do the tips work

So how do the tips work out first time 

 

if they say it’s say $15 per person is that $30 for each day or every time we eat like breakfast , lunch and dinner ? 

 

Cause that hat could be pricey

if 2 people that would still be $15pp or $30 per day

3 people $45 per day

mom, dad, 1 child 5 years old,,,$45 per day

2 moms, 1 child 10 years old, 1 child 5 years old and 1 child 18 mos old would be $60 per day

Simply stated:  $15 per person per day.  You are not charged for any children under 2 years old.

Agreed.  Remember, tips can be increased, decreased, or removed altogether by going to guest relations.

It’s 15 per person per day added to your onboard account. You do have the option of paying it prior to your cruise if you prefer. This charge covers tips for the people who clean your room and wait on you for meals. It does not cover bar staff or spa staff. If you make additional bar or spa purchases an additional gratuity will be charged as a percentage of the bill (not sure how much it is).

Just per person, per day.  We pre-pay ours at final payment.  That way, the only onboard expenses are for non-included drinks (alcohol, cokes, shakes, specialty coffee) or any photos or souvenirs we may purchase.  So, on our upcoming cruise, tips are $12.95 per person, per day or $90.65 for the week per person.  The tip amount is fixing to go up, I forget what the new amount is going to be - maybe $13.99?  And, suites are more for some reason.
