They recently changed the image size and URL limit for Signatures.  New limits are: Maximum of 2 images Images up to 447 x 204 pixels - Maximum of 3 URLs - Maximum of 10 lines   I just added a countdown clock and it seems to work.

I'm not really a fan of them, but I know some people are, so head on over and make yours.

Excellent 🙂. I do like to see my days before my cruise tick down.

On the old site, they were pretty useless as they were hidden.  I just migh put mine up again 🙂. thanks 🙂

Adding a Countdown Clock - New CC Site

The way you add a countdown clock has changed a little, so here are the instructions:

First, you'll need to go into your profile.  Click on your username and select Account Settings from the drop-down.

On the Account Settings page, click on Signature

Next, you'll need to paste the clock code into your signature. Put it on the first line so it shows up.

You get the Countdown Clock code here:

https://www.cruisecritic.com/vbulletin/countdown.cfm

(Say... Shouldn't that have been the FIRST step, Mr. Helpful? - Ed)

Once you paste the code... which admittedly should have been the first step, you'll see the clock in your signature. (It's like there's no quality control any more. -Ed)

Hit the Save button and you're clock-a-riffic.

Most of your clock will show up in the signature, but the bottom is cut off a little.  The signature box is only 80 pixels tall and the clocks are a wee bit taller.

However, if a person click "Expand Signature, they'll see your signature in all its glory.

Thank you so much POA1. It worked and you explained it so well even this old woman could figure it out.

Happy to help!  I couldn't figure out where the signature got to at first, and I guessed that I wouldn't be the only one to run into trouble.

Thanks, POA.    Is it really National Pumpkin Day?

Yes. DW was all excited. She loves pumpkin. Chobani has a pumpkin Greek yogurt this time of year and she had it for breakfast with some spiced pecans that we make. (Very low carb because they're sweetened with Splenda.) She likes all things pumpkin. 🎃

It was very observant of you to notice that on my clock.

I thought that was the test...

Nope, just two, grandfathered from before the change. Oh well, Feb 2020 is so far out, a lot of things could happen...

Yes. The image limit for signatures is 2. See the first post in this thread.

Ya, reading comprehension may not be strong suit here. Are they images? are they URLs? Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

I will add #3 after #1 is over.

Testing (Thanks for the step by step instructions with the superb graphics for those of us technically challenged - show me, don't tell me! Yes. )

You're very welcome. Don't feel bad. I haven't had a countdown clock since I was on either the Zuiderdam or Oosterdam in 2003 or 2004. (I had a different email and CC ID back then.) I thought that if I was going to need to figure it out, I might as well take some screen shots and document the process.

How do you get to the page to make a new countdown clock if you don't have that link above? I've looked for a way to get to it through the boards but couldn't find a link. Anyone know where they're hidden?

Follow POA's link from above in this thread:
