If it loses them loyal clients then once the new policy really kicks in the sailings won’t be sold out so much in advance.

I'm also thinking they can't sustain this unusual policy as they move from the present 5 ocean ships to the planned 16.  They will have a LOT of beds to fill, and will have to take customers as they find them.

Can you let me know where this is and I’ll see if it’s the same change for Australia where currently it’s 120 days before sailing. I know Aussies won’t pay 12 months in advance - regardless of any loyalty.

Well that wasn’t helpful. I seem to have just booked a cruise in Japan for 2021! And good news for Aussies. 120 days prior. I think it’s because of our consumer legislation.

Hello Pushka .. yes we are in Qld and booked for South America in 2020 yesterday. There was no change to previous / existing payment arrangements

If you go to vikingcruises.com and go to the bottom of the home page there is a tab for Terms & Conditions.  That is where it now says "The final balance is due based on offer at time of booking."

Just booked onboard last week.  Payment due 6 months prior.  Made it under the window.
Paid 18 months in advance for our 3 cabins river cruise next July.
