Really not sure I like one over the other as I’ve not done enough on both to really say with the exception of St Thomas. 

 

 

St Thomas I spent a week there back in 1999 at an all inclusive resort. Had an amazing time.

First cruise ever? Oh my goodness you are in for a treat. Once you start sailing on one of these big girls you can’t just go sail on any ole ship unless it’s one of the big girl sisters.

 

My first cruise on the Oasis class was on Allure. Go to my signature and there is a link there to that Allure cruises live trip report I did a few years ago.

Went and got some coffee on Promenade deck and I said good morning to this lady from NY. Well I assume she’s from NY, she sounded like a New Yorker. Anyways she said she was mad. Keep in mind this was about 6:30am. I asked her why she was made, she said because she woke up so early...

 

 

Ahhhh, the struggles of sea life sometimes. It’s a gorgeous start to our sea day. It’s so heavily as I sit here at the stern of the ship and watch the wake of our memories from St Thomas and St Maarten are now behind us.

 

Last night I was so tired I was literally falling asleep at dinner. Once dinner concluded I went to my room to take a “power nap” so That I could meet up with the gang in the casino. Well let’s just say that power nap lasted until 230am. I was going to head up to the casino then as I’m pretty sure all or part of the crew was there, but I walked out onto my balcony briefly then just went back to bed. So now here I sit ready for another wonderful day.

 

Now if you don’t have a cruise booked, what are you waiting for go do it today. Never wait for others to be available too, if they can’t go, then just go do it. Solo cruises are the best too!

Amusing that someone can be mad about waking up early while on vacation, just turn over and go back to sleep! My husband and I are early risers and love the quiet times on the ship before everyone is up and wondering around. Definitely the best time to take pictures around the ship. On our last cruise we enjoyed coffee at Cafe Promenade every morning while we waited for Windjammer to open at @ 7 and our kids to wake up. Enjoy your day at sea.

Oh how I LOVE the champagne bar!  We had a fabulous set of bartenders in their last October as well.  Hoping they may still be there in December.

The towels are slowly starting to wake from their night of disco at Blaze last night. They are slowly filling the chairs. Pools havd opened up...
