Suggest you check with a MaitreD of one of the speciality restaurants or Guest Services upon boarding.  If there is enough interest they will most likely have a Chefs table.

That's what I was thinking, too, if I didn't get any responses from anyone here. Thanks for your reply!

We recently did the Chefs table on the Equinox becasue we had a ton of SBC.

It was was really disappointing.   They crowded 11 diners around a table for 8.

The Officer was interesting but the rest of the passengers at the table were sour lemons.   One couple left before desert after constant rude remarks, another thought it was a time two solve all of their sailing issues.  Another would always interrupt and try to change the topic that the officer was talking about by saying that they weren’t interested in that, talk about something else.  It was a very unpleasant time.

The Chef really didn’t have much involvement except to announce what the next course was and that was it.

You are stuck with the menu and wine that they serve.  The food wasn’t anything special as it came from the menu.   It would have been better if we dined alone and a lot cheaper and would have received more personal attention, a better menu selection and a nice enjoyable dining experience.

happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

We did the Chef's Table on Millennium last month and it was exceptional.    They held it in the Wine Cellar in Tuscan Grill.   Excellent service and nice food.   We met some nice fellow passengers and are currently on Silhouette with one of the other guests.

If I recall it was rather expensive at about $145 per person.

We did the Chef's Table on the Infinity last May.  Could not have had a more wonderful time, the best evening!  There were 10 of us in the Wine Cellar (a private dinning room inside Tuscan Grill) no Officer attended.  We had met some couples on board and asked if they would want to do the Chef's Table, we asked the MaitreD to help arrange it (there was one couple we hadn't met). We had a great group, all who enjoyed trying new things and everyone was very positive and  pleasant. It would have been too tight if more than 10 people at the table. The food was amazing, service was very attentive but not intrusive, the explanation  of the wines was extremely informative as to why he chose the wine as well as where it came from. The Chef seemed to be pleased that everyone enjoyed each course, so he enjoyed going into a more in depth explanation of each course and also came out at the end for which he and the whole staff was given a round of much deserved round of applause!

This was hands down one of the top Chef's Tables we have experienced, only to be outdone by Infinity again where several years ago, the Chef's Table was in the kitchen (they don't do that anymore)!

It is pricey, yes, but our experience was worth it.

We had a great time doing the Chef Tables on Silhouette and Allure. I just wasn’t sure if they’d offer it on a shorter itinerary. Thanks for all the replies!

Can the Chef's Table be purchased/reserved before the cruise or do you have to wait until you get on board?  Also do you have your choice of dates during the sailing or is this a one time event for each sailing?
