Fantastic, thanks so much for sharing this.

On a related note have you seen the Conrad Hilton Hotel.

I remember walking down to the area when construction began but was wondering what it is like now that it is finished.

Keith

I think it has been open for a while now.  As expected, it is gorgeous.

Thanks for the info!!  Exciting that new hotels are going up in the area.

Keith1010, Conrad is beautiful.  Opened about a year ago.

And as a side note, hope you are getting down here prior to the spring.  You favorite Perricones will be closing, we’ve been told Janauary by some staff.

So glad to hear that the Conrad is beautiful. I was thinking of it the next time we are in Fort Lauderdale.

Oh no, is that January of 2019?  We won't be there by then this time around.  So sorry they are closing.  Makes me feel older.  :classic_sad:

I forgot to add that the Dalmar is walking distance to the Brightline Station.  So you could actually stay here for a Miami cruise.

That’s a great note for everyone.  Makes the bright line perfect if coming from the Miami airport or Miami area.

Hi!  It's dually branded.  One half is The Element and the other is The Dalmar.

Correct! The Dalmar will be the classier of the two, but they will share most of the same amenities (dining, bars, pool, etc.). The Element will offer some type of free breakfast, but not a buffet or full service sit down restaurant. We had looked at both of them online and they both appeared to be very nice. I believe The Element has already opened, so you might be able to find some reviews of it.

I'm booked at the Element in late January! Looks like it will be VERY nice. I have been stalking the website of the Element and DALMAR with Fingers crossed that the hotel will open before my stay. When I booked in the spring it was slotted to Open in August 2018 and has been pushed back each month. I got a great points deal on 3 rooms so I am looking forward to hear if they opened...
