Soon to be the best Suite Lounge?  Nah, that OA class.  2nd best SL?

Adventure has an excellent SL.  It is larger than the soon to be SL on Navigator.  Navigator's problem is that they installed Izumi in the area where the SL goes on some of the other Voyager/Freedom class ships.

^ I suppose the Star Lounge could be overflow if really needed, after the dry dock.

This is what they did on the Explorer in September, even though the Diamond Lounge was still in the VCL. Even though the view is lost, makes sense to have it nearby an area where they can do overflow, kind of like what Anthem does with the Music Hall.

True.  If only the non-OA SL's had the 11am to 11pm bar.  Then it might surpass the OA.

I'm guessing it's being placed near the Star Lounge on Navigator so they can use that existing bar for drinks.  On the new Mariner in the DL there is no walk up bar.  Wait staff walk around, take orders and go fill them outside the club.  I'm guessing that trend will continue on Navigator.

Doubt that - as the new DL will have no bar und the Star Lounge has a bar that people could actually use....:classic_ohmy:

Yeah, they use the Star Lounge on Explorer for 3.5 hours for the nightly Diamond Event...or at least they did on my sailing, maybe it varies.

But don't forget, the Navigator will have more bars in the area after the drydock than Explorer, so I don't think they will have an issue closing it off. Navigator will have R Bar, English Pub, The Bamboo Room and Playmakers all on deck 5, Schooner, Casino and Boleros on deck 4, 2 more than Explorer.

They do not want the DL to have a bar! 🙄

Less consumption if people have to wait for half an hour for the waiter to come back! 😒

Just use the vouchers in other bars then; but I get what you're getting at, and it sucks. I'd also be interested in the stats on how many diamond and above members purchase the deluxe drink package. For me, it varies cruise to cruise depending on destination and travel group.

Don't get me started.  Most horrible design ever!  AND they got rid of the outdoor seating.  I LOVE everything about the Mariner refurb except the DL.
