hot water for tea

I’ve found that pretty much the only place I’m going to get a decent cup of tea is the UK, (unless I’m given a kettle in my cabin) and the only place I’m going to get a decent coffee is Italy.  So I’ve had to accept that on board a ship, barely drinkable is going to have to be good enough.  We bring our own Yorkshire Tea bags, and if the cup is pre-warmed, the water at the buffet on many ships will produce an acceptable cup of tea.  Usually I can custom-blend the skimmed milk and the full-fat milk to get semi-skimmed, and I'm pretty happy.

I take it you're in the lower mainland.  Next time you're on/nearby Scott Road, stop by the RCSS.  There was something like 12 different brands/grades of loose leaf tea there when I visited.

Affirmative - Maple Ridge/Pitt Meadows. Will check out our local RCSS, but note Save-on-Foods now has an extensive British aisle  and we also head over to the Black Pudding Company in Langley.
