It's particularly useful if you are replying to a post full of images. I cover how to "Quote selection" on your phone, your tablet, and your computer. It's over on the Holland America board. I have to say that this feature is perhaps the best innovation in the new software. It's so good that I'm finding myself automatically trying to do the same thing on other forums, and being a bit flummoxed when nothing happens. I've never been able to figure out how the thread star ratings work. In fact, I can't recall seeing a thread with anything other than grayed out stars. I just looked at a few very active, very popular threads - threads with plenty of likes in them - and there's still nothing, starwise. Do you know of any "starred" threads? No, I am referring to the stars on the thread, near the title. I think that's what @John&LaLa is referring to as well.
