flamomo Posted December 13, 2018 #1 Share Posted December 13, 2018 My adult daughter and I are booked for an AK cruise, r/t SFO in the Fall. It's been several years since I've been to SFO, and my daughter has never been. We're flying into SFO one day before embarkation, and I'm thinking we might want to stay in the Fisherman's Wharf area, since our flight is scheduled to arrive around noon, and that's be a place where we could wander around a bit on our own, and find a nice seafood restaurant for dinner. I'd appreciate recommendations for a decent. but not overpriced, hotel … maybe rates 3-4 stars, as we really don't need something luxurious. CalLuvsCrusingToo Posted December 15, 2018 #3 Share Posted December 15, 2018 Oopsy, I thought you looking for a hotel near SFO. I haven't stayed near Fishermans wharf in ages.
marden1970 Posted December 16, 2018 #4 Share Posted December 16, 2018 My husband and I just returned from 10 day r/t SF to Mexico and did the Alaska one last June. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express by Fisherman's Wharf. Newly remodeled and just a short cab ride to the ship. Staff was very friendly and helpful and breakfast is included. delaware32 Posted December 16, 2018 #5 Share Posted December 16, 2018 We are staying at Hotel Zoe by Fisherman's Wharf in April . We used Hotwire and got a great price ($240 + tax ). We researched 4 star hotels in that area before actually booking . It has good reviews . So maybe check that as a possible way to book ,
