Rare shof515 Posted December 20, 2018 #1 Share Posted December 20, 2018 The April 18 and 28 sailings out of New York is now sailing out of the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal instead of the Manhattan Cruise Terminal. The NCL website is updated with the new homeport The Brooklyn Cruise Terminal is located in the Red Hook Section of Brooklyn, address is 72 Bowne St, Brooklyn, NY 11231. April42749 Posted December 20, 2018 #2 Share Posted December 20, 2018 Wow....thanks for point this out. As someone who lives right by the dock in Manhattan, cruising out of Brooklyn would be like cruising out of another country. I hope this is just temporary. NCL has the Pearl, the Escape and the Jade all leaving from NYC on the 28th. The traffic jam caused by all three disembarking and embarking 10,000+ passengers from the Manhattan pier would be nightmare.

DZcreature Posted December 22, 2018 #5 Share Posted December 22, 2018 I think it may be cheaper to park there than at the pier in Manhattan, but adds a little to our drive time from Massachusetts.
bob brown Posted December 22, 2018 #6 Share Posted December 22, 2018 Wow this is a surprise...I don't believe NCL has ever sailed from Brooklyn, before...that port is usually home to Princess and Cunard, with an early call by P&O, when it was brand new...
