Barcelona Hotels - Renaissance Fira or Le Meridien?

I'm trying to compare and decide on one of two hotels during our stay for three nights this coming July 2019. Fira is further from La Rambla; Le Meridien is on La Rambla.

Fira has a rooftop pool, which is something I love having; Le Meridien - unknown.
If we take the Aerobus from the airport, which hotel has easier access from the time we get off the bus and walk to the hotel? Still not sure if we should just take the taxi instead.

Haven't stayed at either one, but the Renaissance appears to be a 15 minute walk from the Aerobus stop  whereas Meridien is less than 5 minutes walk from the Placa Catalunya stop.  Doesn't appear that the Meridien has a pool.

(Aerobus 5.9 E pp,  taxi about 30E)

Make a choice based on your priorities. My priority was proximity to sights we want to visit.  We like to walk and plan to spend time at the Market, the Gothic Qtr and Barcelona Cathedral, so  our hotel is near Pl Catalunya.  Lots of restaurant choices nearby also.

You might want to put this question on tripadvisor to get more responses.
