luv2sailAgain Posted December 27, 2018 #1 Share Posted December 27, 2018 I am trying to decide how many Soda Packages to buy before the new year because I read that the Soda Package is increasing to $12.99. Wondering if this is the on-board price? My Cruise Planner currently lists the Soda Package at $9.99 per day. I guess my actual question is what will be the 2019 price on my Cruise Planner for a pre-cruise price?
packerman8 Posted December 27, 2018 #2 Share Posted December 27, 2018 I would buy now, You can always cancel it before you get on the cruise and get a full refund.

I guess my actual question is what will be the 2019 price on my Cruise Planner for a pre-cruise price? They don't offer it any cheaper onboard. Price per day will never go down, but has been going up and up over last couple yrs. As said buy now, can always cancel ltr if you change your mind right up until you set sail. Don't forget prices are actually more then $9.99 and $12.99 with the daily Tip/fee added in. Example is when you pay for a 4 nite cruise at the $9.99 would be $47.15 per person. PigsCanFly Posted December 29, 2018 #4 Share Posted December 29, 2018 I have seen the soda packages for 2018 cruises as 9.99/day or lower and the 2019 cruises as 12.99/day or lower. I booked each of my 2019 cruises on sales for 9.99 . And the soda/voom pkgs for $20/day . It is usually possible to cancel/rebook if a better price appears. LeeW Posted December 29, 2018 #5 Share Posted December 29, 2018 So far all 2019 sailings are $9.99 per day for us. December cruise was $8.50. Plus gratuities.

The Fun Researcher Posted January 23, 2019 #8 Share Posted January 23, 2019 If it does go to $13 per day, we'll switch to bringing a 12 pack of bottles onboard, and pay out of pocket for the rest, about $4 per soda Dan

Last couple of cruises I had a package though, so it likely has gone up...but to $4? ouch.

rkkunk Posted January 23, 2019 #12 Share Posted January 23, 2019 Does anyone know how much a bottle of water costs? We we will be on the Harmony and the RR package is $20 right now. He drinks a lot of water and likes the flavored water from the Freestyle machine. He also has a smoothie once in a while. We have always lucked out and gotten the RR for $15 on sale in the past. My DH will make good use of the package, just not sure if it’s worth it for my son.

Now allowed one 12 count, 17 ounce max, bottles or cans per Cabin. Carry on only, no checked baggage
