Ella2 Posted January 2, 2019 #1 Share Posted January 2, 2019 (edited) Due to strong winds, the captain announced we are not able to dock in Harvest Caye today. I am perfectly fine with that (enjoying the Haven and thermal suite), but I feel bad for the crew. The captain tried to let people know that it was a safety issue, and asked people not to flood guest services with questions...but I know there will be the inevitable ones who have to complain anyway. While I would have enjoyed visiting a "port" that I hadn't seen before, life goes on. No complaints about celebrating the beginning of a new year on a lovely cruise! zqvol Posted January 2, 2019 #2 Share Posted January 2, 2019 You really aren't missing much. HC is a beach and a pool with a few shops. Sure there are a few excursions but you end up having just as much fun staying on the ship.

It was rather underwhelming. We were there in December.
MCC retired Posted January 3, 2019 #4 Share Posted January 3, 2019 The Best and only Semi-Private Island experience in the Western Caribbean . Probably the main reason that I would choose an NCL Western Caribbean Cruise over the other lines.
