C&A status connected to M life

Recommended Posts

I see that my C&A status can be linked to my M life account. I'm looking into planning some land based vacations and may be able to take advantage of some of the M life perks. How do I connect my C&A status to my M life account? Can this be done on line or do I need to call?

Am I reading the attachment correctly that you can ONLY connect your C&A account to your M Life account in person at an M Life counter?

I'd try calling the phone number on the flyer for more info.

Thanks everyone for the help. I called the number on the flyer and they linked my status. For those that aren't aware, I want to pass along something they told me regarding the M Life account. M Life resets their accounts every October. C&A members that want to remain connected to the M Life program must call every year to re-link the accounts.

We went to Vegas over Thanksgiving and stayed at the Vdara to watch the Continental Tire Basketball tournament and the UNC Tar Heels.  We went to dinners and shows 0, Love, and Australian Bee Gees.  Utilized the free valet parking for being MLife Platinum from RCI Diamond plus status.  That perk alone is worth the effort of joining M Life.

My wife and I will be visiting Las Vegas later this year. I saw the free valet parking and that was one of the things that made me join up. I don't know what valet parking costs in Vegas but free is a good deal!

Is there any reverse benefit, if you are platinum or noir at MGM?   Have cruised most lines including seven stars and  CAS cruises on NCL but have not cruised RCCL so came to this board to learn more about the RCCL experience.

Thanks and Happy New Year

Not only free, but usually quick.  The longest we stayed in the valet line was when we were checking out of the Vdara at11AM.  Which, of course, was peak hour.  Leaving the Mirage after Love took no more than 3 minutes at the Bellagio after O no more than 5.  I don’t remember exactly the rates, but they were all north of $20, maybe quit a bit more.

Does anyone here have experience with this? I did not realize this program existed until just a short time ago. I joined the M Life program because we will be visiting Las Vegas later this year and I wanted to take advantage of some of the reciprocity with C&A. I didn't realize it works both ways. So, now my question is, as a Gold member with M Life, the flyer says I qualify for a $125 OBC. Has anyone done this? Is the $125 per person or per stateroom? The terms & conditions say the OBC must be requested at the time of initial booking so I'm probably out of luck for my upcoming cruise but the information will be valuable when we book our next cruise.

Unless you earned your M Life Status as a result of playing casino money at MGM casinos (and or spending money hotels, shows, and dining) you can’t use those M Life perks on a cruise.  That is what is listed at the bottom of the link Bob (Host Cleara) just posted.  When this program first started I was able to get an M Life card (generally have to show up at a casino or hotel to physically get a card).  I was able to show my card in the casino and get drink vouchers and dinner vouchers.  They have since fixed this from all reports I have read.  I don’t remember how long ago I was able to get the perks but it was at least 5 years ago.  After our recent trip to Vegas, I have 22,000+ tier points, all from dinner hotel and shows.  I don’t gamble but rarely.  I am M Life platinum, it would take me about 10 trips in a year at that rate to qualify for M Life on my own.  No way that is going to happen.

Short answer if you are gold from playing M Life, and not getting it from your C&A status, then yes, I think you might be able to get the money, although, I do not believe it to be combinable with your C&A discounts or OBC.  You probably get whichever is better.

Good luck.

That makes a lot of sense. I didn't figure they would allow people to double dip but if it was permitted, I might as well take advantage of it. Thank you for the insight.

Call them and they will call Royal and get you linked up. We LOVE the M-Life perks! We have stayed at the New York New York, Bellagio & most recently the Mirage all for free only paying the resort fees but getting a resort credit as well. New York New York was a suite with a jacuzzi in the room! Bellagio going rate on our fountain view was over $1,500 bucks! 🙂 As Diamond Plus with Royal we also get to use the Platinum check in line which at the New York New York was a lunge with free snacks & sodas. Separate taxi line as well almost putting you to the front of the line. Seems their might be 10% off at restaurants but I may be making that one up, hehe. You can't use M-Life rewards back toward Royal with at Platinum is a free cruise. Current offer is again free room booked by Jan 15th used by June 30th?? but we just can't fit a trip in, boooo! I also do Vegas Slots and get a free drink here or there. Last time it was buy one get on free at Carnagie Deli in the Mirage. Also get OBC with Royal with that game as long as you apply within 60 days of booking. Love saving money spending money hehe.

I am MLife Gold due to my C&A status. For my March 2018 cruise, upcoming January 2019 and February 2019 cruises I was able to get the $125 onboard credit for each sailing. I called with my reservation numbers and my MLife and C&A membership numbers. The onboard credit was very quickly added to each cruise planner.  For the March cruise, I called two weeks before sailing with no issues. The other two were a couple months out so I could put it towards beverage and dining packages.
