Whatever you do don't use anything that might mark the door as it will almost certainly be removed by the crew.   Secondly don't put anything there that you would NOT be happy to "lose"; there are some jackdaws about!!  That includes magnets.   Don't put anything that might offend, it may well be defaced.

Other than those go ahead we most do it one way or another.

Most anything of a non-permanent type are permitted.

Just don't cover any smoke detectors - fire sprinkler heads - covering the peep

hole in the door optional - make sure that nothing falls into the door jam

preventing the secure closing of the door. If used on the passageway side of

the door not obstructing the passage of guests.

Your cabin attendant may offer some help solutions ***

*** after all if you don't clean-up afterward he is going to have to do it -

may have some towel animals to enhance the occasion !

OK now get ready to party now that you have signed on for one !

Never had any walk off our door.  We didn’t use to make them personal.  Now we do, because of what people have said on these boards.  Our Happy Birthday signs always have our name on them.  It does make finding your room easy.

this was ours this past week - it helped us and others find their room... and it made us feel festive everytime we went back to our room..

Looks awesome!  I love walking around the ship and seeing all the creative ways people decorate their doors.  I’m just not that crafty.
