After reading this, I have one piece of luggage that is 21 x 14 and 26 long. I'm guessing that should fit thru the scanners? Trying to make the carry on easier, by putting using a bigger bag to store cpaps, soda, electronics and personal/medical and not having to do a balancing act lugging these things.

Should not have a problem fitting through the scanner.

We have done this on nearly every cruise.  We arrive early and are among the first to board.  We head to the upper deck for lunch and a cocktail and before we know it the cabins are ready.  Not a big deal.

But as pointed out...your luggage must be able to fit into the Xray scanner at security, just like an airport.  Some have no problems traveling light enough to do it in just carry on bags.   

 

But don't expect to drag your huge bags on board...not going to happen.  

Even normal size suitcases fit through those scanners just fine
