Advice for booking with cruising excursions.com

Hello all!  What an amazing group of people I have met on this forum so far.   We are on the norwegian epic starting August 25th and just booked 3 excursions through the website  cruisingexcursions.com

They seems legit and promise to get us back to our ship on time.  I am hoping someone has used them before and can give me peace of mind as a reputable company.  We booked rome with Vatican city florence and pisa and Morocco and monte carlo day trips.

they are  a broker  they do not do the tours themselves

they put you with  local tours 

I would check local tour guides  & see how they compare

As others have posted, they are a broker, like Viator and a raft of other booking agencies.

They have a decent reputation, but for anything other than the booking process the quality & reliability of an excursion depends on the tour company, not the booking agency. You can generally book cheaper direct with the excursion operator, though that's quite variable - they get commission from the operators, which narrows the price gap.

 

Easy process for one-stop shopping, and there's a degree of comfort in booking with a reputable international organisation rather than with some unknown local operator. If you have a genuine complaint they can and will refund with no loss to themselves, they simply with-hold the money from the tour operator.

 

But they're an extra cog in the system, an extra opportunity for errors and mis-communication. 

Ans their staff's knowledge of the many thousands of excursions that they offer is limited to the little information that's on their website.

 

In most cases it's best to research deeper and book direct with an operator.

But thousands have been very satisfied with the excursions that they've booked through cruisingexcursions and similar organisations.
