What's to eat when Carnival Dream is in port?

Almost every food venue is open except for one of the MDR. Check the fun times for which MDR has the lunch

Lunch in the MDR is only on sea days.  Closed on port days.  EM

I assumed the MDR would be closed, thanks, but what I should have asked was, what about Guys Burgers, Pasta Bella,  Pig&Anchor, etc.

Both dining rooms will be closed for lunch on port days.

You can look through Saint Greg's recent review of the Dream. He's posted Fun Times for almost every day of his cruise, so you could comb through to see what was open on sea days, port days, etc.

Correct. Pig & Anchor on the Dream is only open on sea days.

 

Pasta Bella, Burgers, Burrito Place, Pizza and the buffet (basically, everything on the Lido deck) would be open.

This video from August 2018 shows it open pier side in New Orleans. I don't know what to think now. I was hoping it would be open on embark day. The P and A starts at the .31 sec mark here:

I just looked through Saint Greg's review that I posted above. It looks like we're both right. P & A open on embarkation day and sea days. Not open on port days.
