Princess Insurance/AON Claim time??

My mother had rot cancel her New Years eve cruise due to health reasons. My claim was received by AON on the 9th and has been assigned. Nothing still except for the assignment. Anyone with experience with a cancelled claim? Can you tell me about your experience.

I had to cancel once for a death in family.  I called my travel agent and she handled everything to include getting the insurance claim in.  I say ours took 6-8 weeks; but we had to wait to receive the death certificate to submit

We recently had to cancel and file a claim. It took right at 30 days.  Received the credit in our Captain's Circle account 3 days after the insurance emailed letter to us with claim decision. Princess had credited us port charges immediately upon cancelling cruise.
