Going on an ULTRA in March on the Magic, hoping to win a new IPHONE or better.....last time on an ULTRA won an IPAD Pro as well as some slot jackpots.

Here's a link to a thread just about the different casino fare offerings:

What type of play or how many points do you need to get an ultra offer? It seems to say that you just need to go on a premier cruise to get one, but that just doesn't sound right.

You need to earn 7500 points on a Premier

If that were true, I wouldn't have received any of the offers I get for Ultras......I do cruise often, so the points can accumulate over a series of premier cruises.

SHHHHHHHHH!

Supposed to be 7500 on one premier cruise!-)

That from the Carnival Ultra rep on our last cruise.

We also got the snail mail notice that Ultras were coming out May 9.

The ones offered last year, and the beginning of this year weren't too good, so not holding my breath, but hoping!

The Carnival Casino Flier states you need to earn 7500 pts on a Premier cruise to get offers for Ultras!

Seems some have stated that is not always true, so its a guess!-)

The 7500 points apply for most guests but the casino hosts do waive requirements for certain guests but there is no accumulating.

Just booked 2 Ultra cruises, here is a list we had to pick from:

Sept 28, 8 days on the Magic

Oct. 12 7 days on the Vista

Oct. 19 7 days on the Conquest

Oct. 26 7 days on the Vista, Conquest and Sunshine

Nov. 2 14 days on the Breeze

Nov 9 7 days on the Vista and Miracle

Nov. 16 8 days on the Horizon

Dec. 8 7 days on the Glory

Dec. 14 7 days on the Breeze

We chose chose Oct. 12 and Nov. 16,  prices were discounted a little bit, plus the fun money, DOU and the gift, it's better than paying the rack price.

So ultra cruises are offered based on premium cruises where one gambles enough to accumulate 7500 points?

What is a premium cruise?

When you gamble enough on a cruise, you get invited to Premier cruises!

We also were looking at those 2 dates, but our Ultra offer was $500 casino play, while our Premier offer is $1000. casino play!

Only a few of the gifts are over $500., and I never win them, so we'll likely take a Premier, mabe a land vaca.!

When I checked the regular price of the cabin to the ultra price, it was only $8. less!-))
