Club Royal Question

Does anyone know what instant cruise rewards certificate is in the club royal casino program? I just got enrolled in the rewards program by the cruise line and I am a choice member and instant cruise rewards certificate is one of the perks of choice level. I am just curious what it is.

I believe it is the certificate you earn  on the ship.  If you earn 400 points you will receive a certificate for $100 off  a future cruise ( booked within 30 days).  During the cruise, each 400 points  gives you an additional $100 off until you hit 2400 points and you receive a certificate for a 7 night cruise in an inside cabin.  (you either get the $$ off certificate  or the free cruise certificate not both.

 

It takes $5 of slot play to earn one point. I don't know how table  play is calculated.

On Harmony last week they have a new certificate for a free Jr. Suite for earning 8000 points. In the past the max certificate was a balcony for earning 4800 points. Trade in value on the Jr. Suite certificate was $1250 off any sailing not on the short list of free cruises.

Choice level really earns you nothing.  To be eligible for useable offers, you need to be at least Prime which is reached by earning 2400 points or more.

Is that 2400 points per cruise or over time?

Prime status is attained after 2500 cumulative points earned between 4/1/18 and 3/31/19, for this period.

Casino Royale year is from 4/1 to 3/31.  If you earn 2400 points on all your cruises from 4/1/2018 to 3/31/2019, you’ll be eligible for a free, up to 8 night non-holiday cruise,  in an inside room.

I don't know how any of these programs work but for both my last 2 cruises I was given a free balcony room cert and all I did was play table games 3-4 nights for a 2-3 hours on a 9 night cruise.

I have a question...I am sailing 3/3/19 on Harmony.  I know the points go 3/31 -4/1 yearly.  Will those points I earn count for nothing, because we are at the end of the year or do you think RCL would consider them into the next year.  Does that make sense.

Points earned between 4/1/2018 and 3/31/2019 establish your status for the next year (4/1/2019 to 3/31/2020).  If you earn 2500 points before 3/31/2019, you’ll be Prime until 3/31/2020. You’ll be eligible for a free cruise (not over a holiday), up to 8 days, in an inside cabin. Simply call Casino Royale after 4/1/2019 to book the free cruise of your choice.   If you earn 25000 points, you’ll be Signature which entitles you to a free balcony cabin and free internet.

Also for Prime and Signature you get free drinks in the casino and no charge for getting cash on your credit card.  Love both of these benefits.

Thank you for clearing that up.  Glad to know my 3/3 cruise will go towards the next year

Keep in mind that, unless you have  points from a previous cruise since 4/1/2028, you’ll have to earn 2500 on your 3/3 cruise to be eligible for Prime from 4/1/2019 to 3/31/2020.  The points do not carry over.  You start again on 4/1.

Oh OK I am prime now and reach 2500 on my cruise to Cuba in January as well as my cruise in November on Oasis.

Yes. You can book your free cruise starting April 1, 2019. You will be prime until 3/31/ 2020 and free drinks in the casino and monthly mail offers. I just made prime 02/09/2019. I hope all of the info I gave you is correct.
