Hi everybody and sorry if some of the next questions have already been dealt with before. Any help answering is greatly appreciated. We leave on 2 March and we are in the Yacht Club.

1) Can someone explain in a simple and clear way what the deal is with the drinking package (I booked over a year ago) because I have read so many different versions of what is included and what not that I don't understand anymore ...

2) I would like to go to the spa and do a massage or something (we have 2 seadays) but I cannot find a spa price list anywhere. Does anybody have that ? The same goes for the daily planners ...

3) I read somewhere that if you play in a certain way in the casino, you can earn credits or points to get a discount on your next cruise. Does anyone know how this works ?

4) Are the specialty restaurants worth the try or not ? What do you recommend ?

5) Is there another feature outside the YC not to be missed on board ?

Thanks for your help

1) Can someone explain in a simple and clear way what the deal is with the drinking package (I booked over a year ago) because I have read so many different versions of what is included and what not that I don't understand anymore ...    YC is all inclusive and there are plenty of choices for beverages there and at other bars around the ship

2) I would like to go to the spa and do a massage or something (we have 2 seadays) but I cannot find a spa price list anywhere. Does anybody have that ? The same goes for the daily planners ...  You can book with the concierge after boarding.

3) I read somewhere that if you play in a certain way in the casino, you can earn credits or points to get a discount on your next cruise. Does anyone know how this works ?  On a 7 day cruise, you play to earn 1200 points to earn a 30% discount and onboard credit on next new booking. There is a time limit on booking after receiving the discount certificate.  The more points earned, the more OBC.

4) Are the specialty restaurants worth the try or not ? What do you recommend ? We personally liked the Butchers Cut and Seafood ones.

5) Is there another feature outside the YC not to be missed on board ?  Just get out and explore the ship and atrium after dinner.  We like to find a place with good singers to relax for a while before going back to YC

Thanks for your help

In YC, there will be a price next to any drinks not included.  Outside the enclave, the only drinks not included are on the Connoisseurs Selection page of the bar menus.

You register your cruisecard in the slot machines to accrue points.  It's not clear how much you have to play to gain points (I've tried, many times, to get a sense of how the points are awarded).  As has already been said, if you attain 1200 points by playing in the casino, you receive a voucher for 30% off your next cruise;  this is on top of the 5% Voyagers Club discount.  You must sail within 9 months of the voucher date.  Another T&C was that you had to book within 2 months of receipt, but I was informed a couple of weeks ago on Armonia that that has been removed.  To date, I've managed to get 4 vouchers, one of which gained us a €4700 discount off one particular cruise!

I highly recommend Butcher's Cut ... we've eaten in BC on 2 different ships and each was as good as the other.

We haven't been on Seaside so can't answer your other questions.

9999 points will get you a free cruise for two, up to 10 days, to anywhere but Cuba or China.  Has to be used within 1 year,

very investing... would you mind share any particular game would generate more points?

Btw, while it's free cruise, does it mentioned what cabin? I would rather have 30% discount (to use for YC), than a free cruise on balcony room.

Thanks

We are on the cruise on March 2 in YC as well.  As poitned out you can (and should) pre-book spa treatments and then schedule them when you get on obar.  We usually schedule after lunch during a walkabout!  You can access the spa prices by going into your booking and select "Enhance Your Cruise option."

See you on board in about three weeks!

The Asian trio experience was very good at $69. Tepanyki and Sushi were great, Adian Fusion was OK but still overall worth it. Also Found OceanCay to be very good, we went on the first night.

We stayed in Aurea so had a free Massage which we booked as soon as we boarded the ship.

We had the Deluxe package and only things not included were Premium Liquor Chockolate Cocktails at Venchii, (all other chocolate Cocktails and Gelato, Milkshakes were included there, some were fantastic) while also at the Champagne bar only 1 drink ,which was prosecco was included.

We received the 30% off voucher and used it for a YC booking in June.  It was actually 35% because you can combine it with your 5% Voyager discount.  Nice deal.

We used one for our YC booking on Splendida's repo from Dubai to Yokohama last April.  :classic_biggrin: It's not quite 35% as the 2 discounts aren't added together and then applied;  they apply 1 discount first, then the other (sorry to be pedantic about it!)

I am torn between Seaside and Divina. We did snag the royal suite on this trip though so that will certainly tip the scales!  Will also have my head in my kindle though likely in the shade as well. I believe they have moved some chaises into what used to be sitting/dining. Wish they would figure out something better ...

Nice on the Royal Suite!  They are beautiful now with the big table!  At least you get some shade with your comped cabana!  My preference for Seaside is having the dining room right in the YC.  I am interested in seeing how they balance tables for eating and the chaises.  It'll be fine, no matter what!
