Changes to Prices of Shore Excursions

I checked shore excursions for our summer Oasis Med cruise about a month ago and then went back yesterday and a lot of the prices seemed to have dropped.  Is this normal?  It doesn't say sale just shows a lower price than before.  We typically don't book through the cruise line but thought for this itinerary we should at least check them out.  Can anyone shed any light on this?

Cancel them and rebook at the lower price.  It’s done all the time.

prices do seem to change quite a bit over time...even without a sale.

They do go on sale and can go up and down.  If booking book at a price you like then if itg goes lower cancel and re-book.  We also don't usually book through the cruise line but for one of our upcoming cruises we did.  I managed to get the lowest prices they offer except on one which was $1 cheaper and therefore not worth the cancel and re-book.

Happens quite a bit. Cancelled and rebooked one particular excursion 3 times for our cruise last summer.

pay attention to emails because that is how they approach you with good deals and some discounts.

 

It is all about supply and demand.  That is why they are now letting folks use OBC a head of time at home to pre book excursions.

I'm waiting for my OBC to come through from my RCCL Visa card and one of the tours I was looking at went up!  At least now I know that I can purchase it and rebook if/when it goes back down.

There has been an offer recently, but it finished on 11th Feb. Our excursions were 22% cheaper.
