Left Behind in Nassau on Symphony of the Seas!

This just happened on Friday February 15th. We were docked next to the Symphony while in Nassau…the ship did wait but in the end the couple was just tooo late getting back.

Oh boy! Must’ve been an unpleasant experience to be a pier runner.  Been researching and telling myself be back at the pier at least 3 hours before.

side note: I’ve never been to the Bahamas in Jan/Feb...... why is he wearing long sleeves?!!!???

It can be cool in January and February, if a cold front goes through.  Plus a lot of people wear long sleeves for sun protection.  My husband does.

Oh good point about sun! All the big and little men in my house are hot 24/7!  I would give them heat stroke with long sleeves in any warm climate 🤣 I forget the rest of the world (including me) doesn’t sweat at 60 degrees 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

Wonder if there is a follow up.  We were once on a cruise where someone missed the ship in Nassau and a police boat caught up with the ship and they were able to jump on.

Bahamas isn't a bad place to miss the ship, at least.  Easy flights back to Miami.  I'd probably just book Baha Mar for a few days then fly back to Miami to retrieve stuff from the ship.

It's fine if you have your passport, but not if you left it on the ship.   Luckily there is an American Embassy nearby the port.  Can get expensive.
