wendyp247 Posted February 22, 2019 #1 Share Posted February 22, 2019 Is it better to purchase HOHO tickets in advance or wait until you are in port. I'm afraid to buy in advance in the unlikely event of a port being cancelled. Thanks

Thanks You can buy them at the bus - there was an agent standing next to the HOHO entrance - we purchased our tickets from her & got on the bus. There may be a small savings by purchasing online but, in light of your concerns, I would wait to purchase on the bus. Rare 2BACRUISER Posted March 7, 2019 #3 Share Posted March 7, 2019 You don't say which city ho-ho you are thinking of so I can offer two: Barcelona- well worth the money. Sees all the main sites and there are two routes (red & blue) both take around 80-90 mins for a full circuit. Never saw any queues for tickets but depends where you get on. Palma Majorca- awful queues to pay glad we bought online. Does a nice circuit inc castle belver and port. Approx 80mins fill circuit. Hth have a good trip. Rare John Bull Posted March 7, 2019 #4 Share Posted March 7, 2019 It's very very unlikely that a port like Barcelona will be missed. But your own plans might change - you feel unwell, or you hook up with others via the RollCall or on the ship who suggest something better, or you find there's more than one ho-ho operator and another is better or more convenient, or someone you meet on the ship offers to drive you round the city in a Rolls Royce. OK, the last one is a mite unlikely, but you get the drift. We rate the minimal probable saving not worth the commitment. Just MHO as always JB

How far is it from port to a stop for the Ho-Ho bus in Palma Majorca?
