Quick question for the Veterans;

The free cruises are issued April 1st for Prime members.  Do they send you a letter with a certificate, an email, or do you just call Casino Royale and book?  Thanks very much!!  Dan

From what I was told recently you need to wait until they drop the code in your account before booking.  But, in the same sentence the agent told me I could book now and then have them apply code if cruise was not paid yet.  But, but, I thought you had to fully pay for any casino rate cruise immediately.  So, there are my totally contradictory statements as described to me this week.

Does anyone have experience getting credit for missing points?

We sailed on Allure on 12/2 and I pre-purchased $2000 in slot credit. Since the machines don't give you points for this, the Casino Host manually added 400 points to my account. I hit Prime on that cruise and all seemed well.  I just checked-in for our next cruise, and I'm still shown as Choice. Called Club Royale and their point total for my Allure sailing was 400 points short. The rep said they are sending an e-mail to some team to look into it, and I had to call back in a week to see what they find. I'm not optimistic. So, does anyone have any suggestions for another way to get my points and status level corrected? Thanks.

You can wait till they contact you which in some cases is never. Or you can call and check.

But they are telling me it will probably be mid April till they have everything finalized.  So that might mean May something.

I also was told April a new set of dates will come out.

My sister/brother in law had their points on their sail and sign card but due to an issue in their stateroom they were changed, were told points will carry over to their new cards, never happened even after her mentioning a few times to the guest services and casino host, she lost those points.

If next year is the same as this year. No specific dates the specific date cruises are for the free cruises given to you via certificate onboard.

For Prime members. Inside cabin. They allow you to upgrade (can't use balcony discount for upgrade) You can take any cruise up to 8 nights as long as it's not over a holiday (Casino Royale's holidays are more than Royal's) . I was given a free cruise from Club Royale because we were on the noro-virus cruise. And they said any 7 night cruise not on a holiday and not on the Harmony or Symphony

There are all types of casino cruise offers.

1-  Special offers that come via mail

2-  A free comp cruise, balcony, jr. suite/interior etc

3-  A cruise credit in a certain amount

4-  Other special credits different times of the year such as valentines, mothers day, fathers day, etc

5-  The "quarterly list" that comes out and is mailed

6-  The annual list/list that you get on your last day of the cruise

We always get a free comp junior suite or balcony plus another cruise credit worth $1700 every year plus all the other offers.

The best way to find your offers is to log on at:  https://www.clubroyaleoffers.com/

Once your prime/signature cruise is able to be booked, it will show up here as well. Also, I have found that the certificates you earn in the casino on individual sailings, are posted here pretty quick. The free cruise I earned on Harmony was listed on this website by the time I got home.

3 card poker was her game of choice. Almost $40  per hand. Never got any points that way. Now she plays WoF at $5 or $7 a spin. Earns around 400 points a cruise.

Points really have nothing to do with how much you win, just how much you risk.

What is WoF?

Yes I know but you can play blackjack a $10 a hand for hours and accumulate almost no points play the 3 card poker without the ante bet at $10 a hand and earn a lot more points. I don't understand it but that's the way it seems to work. You lose most of the hands but when you win it can be big. Both my wife and I wound up with 4 of a kind the last cruise One time the deal had 3 of a kind my wife had the fourth the other I had 3 of a kind and the dealer had the fourth. Big money for a $5 bet.

I would say sit down for half an hour with a full table and see how many points you get.

We have and it sucks, that's why she went to Wheel of Fortune.  You are right about you lose a lot.  Winning is fun, though.

I had a similar experience on my recent cruise, except the dealer had the 4-5-6 of hearts.  Fortunately I had the 7-8 of hearts and $15 on the 6-card bonus bet.:classic_biggrin:

I never play with the dealers cards. I usually miss out on full houses

I have found in my limited experience that playing the ante drains your money faster. I hope they never require it The pairs plus and the 6 card is where the money is. If you are a little lucky (just like a slot machine)

I play $15 blind. $5 on the ante and bet plus pairs plus.

Laura used to play $10 ante, because you make money when dealer does not open. Now she plays $10 ante, $10 pairs plus, and $5 with the dealer.

It seems you can build points fast that way. I was playing just the pairs plus and the 6 card and made 290+ points in a little over 2 hours. I started with $200 in chips and never got lower than $75. But in the past I did lose $500 when I refused to walk away, thinking my luck would change.

I asked this question when I booked and was told I needed to meet the requirements for the level by the 31st regardless of when that date fell within my cruise.. I'd suggest asking onboard at 1st day casino open. Every ship seems to handle things individually..

thank you
