Cafedumonde Posted March 2, 2019 #1 Share Posted March 2, 2019 Are there any places where you can just get something to go that you can eat while you walk around? We will have our kids with us and it really isn't very fun sitting in restaurants with them.
woody14h Posted March 2, 2019 #2 Share Posted March 2, 2019 There are a number of food trucks on this street. All together. Best tripleta sandwiches anywhere. Fun. Go left from the dock. Very close. Calle Comercio & Calle de San Justo, San Juan, Puerto Rico
mets123 Posted March 3, 2019 #3 Share Posted March 3, 2019 There are at least 15 food trucks when ships are in port, and more on weekends. Just two blocks to the left of the OSJ dock.

soonernstlouis Posted March 3, 2019 #5 Share Posted March 3, 2019 Any recommendations among the food trucks? It always seems hit & miss and with so many highly rated restaurants nearby I’m not sure we would try.
Rare crewsweeper Posted March 4, 2019 #6 Share Posted March 4, 2019 Look for Tico Tripleta. One tripleta will feed two. Not gourmet and not gluten free, if that's an issue. But so dang good. Also if Antojos or Molina are there (they wander all over San Juan area). and if Acai Express is parked there, great smoothies. Ignore the "health hype".
