no :consecutive cruiser" info on seapass check in ?

Recommended Posts

Just completed and printed seapass check in for LB May 5. There was nowhere in the procedure to indicate "consecutive cruiser" for departure info nor for the following week arrival info as there used to be on the check in pages. How does the ship determine who is traveling as a consecutive cruiser?

They have it in their records. But I always print out the set sail pass as a backup.

Best always to confirm with Guest Services that you are on the consecutive cruiser list.

Oh, I always confirm with Guest Services. Just curious why that information is no longer gathered when doing check in.

Don't know why, but each time they "improve" the website, more capabilities go away.

Early in the first cruise you will receive a departure form in your cabin to indicate when you would like to depart.  One of the options is "consecutive cruiser".  We checked that and dropped off at GR.  We later received a B2B letter with instructions.

I'm not sure this departure form  happens on every ship.

While checking in online, the choice  "consecutive cruiser"  is under disembarkation questions/options: taxi, car, transfer, and is optional to fill out.

The ship will have your information, but I would go to GS sometime mid cruise to confirm that they will send you the info and transit passes.

Celebrity took the cake last year....they had a welcome back luncheon,  2 complimentary dinner vouchers for specialty restaurant, a voucher for 2 free drinks up to $12 and a $5 casino credit card to be redeemed at the casino. I was quite impressed.....they really wanted to make sure I got back on board! LOL!:classic_biggrin:

Never has Royal gone all that way.

I believe those fields were removed as part of the last website improvement.

Hello,

I think we have been here before. It seems the more the IT team does, the less the website does and the so IT team's idea of 'perfection' must be when the website does nothing at all!

This is what happens when you put the Finance Director in charge of IT.

Regards,

Cublet

RCI will most likely get it messed up anyway, even if there still was an option to check "consecutive cruiser" with online check in (which is no longer there indeed as Bob posted).   The simplest and best way is to go to GS on board the first or second day to inform you are B2B.

Then I think the website will be perfect after another "improvement" or two.

Going the first or second day will not work. I always confirm with GS, but they usually tell me they do not have the information until at least day 4 of a 7 day cruise. Oh, well, it's no big deal. I just thought it was strange that that information was no longer in the check in info. As Bob says, should be perfect soon.

Hmm...that's strange.  Guess I am the exception when I go to GS on the second day.

RCI:  Really Consistently Inconsistent.  😉
