Could you tell me if the food service in Carithia is included in the fare ( like Britannia and Kings Court) or at extra cost please?

I didn't go there at all first trip and sounds like it's worth a visit 🙂

That's what the routine was on most days, I agree. 

 

Mamafrog: Carinthia Lounge food is included in the fare. As I may have mentioned, the selection varies little if any from day to day.

Sounds like it's worth trying out sometime over the 14 days; and one can always change one's mind and pop to Kings Court if the menu of the day doesn't appeal 🙂

Even though it is pretty much the from one day to the next, the 8:00-10:00 offerings are different from the 12:00-2:30 offerings.

I'm back on board QM2 and once again the Carinthia Lounge is not serving the small plate lunches on embarkation day in New York. This time I asked about it and was told it depends on how many in-transit passengers there are as to whether or not the Carinthia Lounge serves lunch on embarkation day.

On my June transatlantics to and from Hamburg they served light snacks in Carinthia from 12:00 to 2:30 when in Southampton.

 

Also in Hamburg on the westbound embarkation, but not in New York on the eastbound embarkation.
