taxi at FLL

Reading some posts it is easier to use a taxi from FLL to our hotel on 17st.  My questions is are the taxi's at FLL big enough to carry 2 28" suitcases and 2 carryons with 2 people?

Standard cabs or SUV\van taxis are the same fare.

Metered taxi...never a flat rate...should be approx $12-18....per taxi not pp. We travel with lot's of luggage and never a problem.

If you know how to use UBER ....use it.  Cheaper, cleaner and drivers are usually friendlier.  IMHO

Did you check whether your hotel has airport pickup shuttle vans? Some, like the Hyatt Place, do, and the 17th street hotel strip is very close to FLL,

Do Taxi's in Fort Lauderdale have vans big enough for a family of 10 travelling together from airport to hotel or hotel to port? Are there any private shuttle services that can be booked? We were able to do that in Orlando on our last cruise.

Considering the amount of luggage involved,  probably two van or SUV taxis would be better.

Two minivan type taxi's will work and they will be easily lined up at FLL.

If you prefer to use a private shuttle service we have used (for our extended family when we've need car seats provided) and would recommend.
